If you love to see people dies, buildings collapsed, water flood cities and volcano erupts then you're going to love this movie. The special effects will blow your mind but at the end of the movie or maybe half- through it you might ask yourself is that really possible? I mean, could someone really survive a never-ending catastrophe in a blink of time? I don't think so. I think what this movie lack is compelling plot and interesting characters.

Monster Hunter

Never did I thought that I'm going to be as addicted as my husband playing this game. I usually sit besides hubby and watch him play but there are nights that I can't sleep so I put my head so close to my husband's hand and hear the sound of monster hunter and the miracle happens, I fell asleep. Then one night, hubby asked me to play with Jim's character (He brought home his officemate's psp to upgrade the character) and I said yes although I have no idea what will I do. At first, It was hard and a bit confusing. I could hardly make the character move forward and use his weapon. So many things that I need to familiarize myself with and also multi tasking is a must. In other words, this is not my kind of game. Too complicated for my little brain. LOL

after 1 month of playing, I finally learn how to use weapons and how to stay alive in the game. :) and still learning to stay calm during critical moments. Would you believe that my husband is my support voice every time he sees me panic on the game. He keep on saying, "Babe, relax I'm here." Such a sweet hubby to have.

By the way, watching this made me and my husband excited and salivate at the same time. :)

Cooking Disaster

Every cook, even professionals, had one or more cooking disasters. For instance, Bobby Flay told Rachel Ray about his plan to cook Cornish game one Christmas and it didn't go as exactly as planned. In my case, I always messed with scrambled eggs. Yes, you read that right, Scrambled eggs. I never got this right. I become impatient and flip the eggs too early (breaking them into half), Flipping them around and end up burning my hands with the oil, The eggs stick to the pan even with enough oil (see below) It looks like a bald scrambled eggs. :(

Another one is this store-bought Champorado or Chocolate Rice Porridge

After a few minutes it should look like this plus the milk

Thanks to my shaky hands, it end up like this

But despite this disasters, the taste is delicious (compensates for the lousy presentation.) I'm glad my husband doesn't complain. He just eat whatever I prepare. :)
