Note: Overdue post. This dinner happened last April 28 with friends @ Trinoma.
How do I sum up our experience with North Park? It was very pleasing to the sense of taste or in short delicious. :)
Chrysanthemum Juice
Love it. I'm not an adventurous eater because I'm not like Andrew Zimmern what I am is a person who appreciate food that is unlikely to enjoy by others.
Yang Chow Fried Rice
 I should try this at home, hubby will definitely love this.
Roast Combination Platter
My first time to eat century egg. I thought I'm not going to like it but end up consuming 2 pcs. Century eggs looks horrible and creepy but really it taste like a normal egg except the texture of the egg yolk. The white part is like jelly that spring back when touched. Feasting on this may not look appetizing but I promise you looks can be deceiving sometimes. Unless you try it yourself then you can say that the looks speak for itself.
3 Kinds Mushroom w/ Broccoli (Kailan)
I'm a big fan of mushroom. The organic, freshly picked not from the can.

Almond Jelly w/ Lychee
Almond Jelly w/ Fresh Mango
According to Mr. Google the recipe name Almond Jelly is actually misleading because the traditional Chinese dessert is actually made of apricot kernel not almonds. The kernel soaked and ground with water. The milk extracted, sweetened, and heated with thickening agent. Chilled then solidifies to the consistency of a soft gelatin then garnish with wolf berry.
Almond Jelly can be made using instant mix or from scratch. If you're super lazy you can buy this in can but I suggest you make it from scratch. Here's an easy recipe from
