Bread Testing

Last summer I was busy with work, this summer I'm busy with these. I've dreamed of making my bread but I was a bit sceptic because I don't have any basic lesson on bread making. It's like going to a war unprepared but that didn't hinder me from trying. Nothing will be lost here except eating a burn bread. Lol :)



My first attempt was Bacon & Cheese bread. It was a smashed hit with my family. The bread literally gone in a day. What I really like about this bread was every layer, every bite I make I can taste the bacon bits & cheese unlike the commercial breads I bought before. With the help of my food tasting committee, I'm going to tweak the recipe a bit so I can offer this homemade goodness.



Cinnamon Raisin Bread. I had fun making this bread. The braiding of dough made my heart beat fast. I thought I'm not going to pass that procedure.



Sesame Bread. For it's simplicity I just can't stop eating this bread. I jot down a few notes on how I can improve it more. :)



Corned Beef Rolls. I had a hard time making these rolls because of the brand of corned beef I used. The brand we usually buy is out of stock and I thought any brand might work...wrong move. The best kind of corned beef to used are those which produce less meat juice when cook.



excess meat juice will make it hard for you to roll the dough but small amount of it will keep the filling moist while baking.



It was a tiring day for me with all the kneading and waiting but when I think about it, It was worth it. Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread especially when you make it yourself. :)
