May, June & July Goals
Just for fun and also to challenge myself, I'll be doing a monthly goal to improve my eating habits.
May Goal: Drink 2 to 3 glasses of lemon water twice a day
I'm an avid drinker of water and adding lemon to it add a refreshing spin. Instead of morning coffee or tea, we pair our usual breakfast with a glass of cold lemon water and just recently my brother-in-law taught us how to make cucumber juice and we are hooked.
June Goal: Skip rice (all kinds)
Skipping rice maybe harder to execute because we Filipinos love our bowl of rice and a meal is not complete without it but, I was very determine to achieve my goal and I did it! In the process, I lose 4 inches off my waist! Amazing isn't it?
As they say, Banana a day keeps the doctor away. We've been stocking up some frozen bananas for guilt-free ice cream but of course, we don't eat ice cream everyday. So this month, I decided to make it a goal to consume at least 1 banana every meal.
I used Strike app by Fanzter to monitor my progress and the reason why June was 31 streaks instead of 30, I started May 31.
