Mini Card Making Class @ The Crafters Marketplace

A dear friend of mine who happens to own CraftersnScrappers had been inviting me to teach a class in her craft shop @ The Crafters Marketplace, Rustan's Grocery, Shangrila Mall. In a heart beat I will do it , but were having problems syncing our schedule for the past 2 months. I'm thankful that she didn't give up on me and was very patient and finally last month we're able to fix it and for my first class, I decided to offer a mini card making class.

My reasons for offering this class are:
  • As I document our February, one of my favorite memorabilia was a valentine's card given to me by my dear sister. The card fit in my album but I had to punch a hole in the card and the envelope which made it hard to see the card without detaching the rings.
  • Most of my crafty friends are into project life and if ever I send this to them, it would be nice to just slip it into a plastic pocket.

The fun started when I did the kit-making which was amazing. The process relaxes me even if i'm not stressed or tired. Just by looking at these lovely kits makes me so happy.

As a thank you gesture to all those who bought my card kits, I'm also adding this extra supplies (markers not included) in their kit. I had fun creating this summery card.

The Shop (were all the lovely goodies are) and the space for class, is in front of the grocery.  It's really hard not to see it because of these lovely posters.

The classroom is so inviting and those wonderful wall art were created by Art of Ian

Angel and Ian were so helpful during my class. Thank you guys. :)

Jello, our early bird.

We have 8 students (there were those who wasn't able to come but bought the kits) that's the reason for those kits and empty chairs.

Thank you guys. I hope to see you next time in my other card making/scrapbooking class. I had so much fun.

Enjoying cold brew iced milk tea at home. It's pretty simple. Just soak tea bags in cold water and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours. To serve, just pull out the tea bags and add sweeteners. I usually add condensed milk. Yum.

Barbara the Slut and Other People by Lauren Holmes|272 pages-I honestly don't know how to describe this book. Most of the short stories were viewpoint of a young woman. There's no endings that made me a bit frustrated because I want more details. I guess I'm just the kind of person that needs endings.

The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman|384 pages-It took me awhile to finished this book not because it's bad but because I love it so much, I don't want it to end. I'm savoring every pages and I'm having a hard time letting go. I totally loved this book. Every aspect of it.

You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day|260 pages- A funny book about a gamer's life. Totally loving it. Light and funny read.
