ONE LITTLE WORD 2016: ADVENTURE

My One Little Word for 2016 is ADVENTURE

My husband and I decided to focus on fulfilling this word this year because of my One little word last year that made a big impact in our lives and change us big time. This year, we want to take a deeper dive in life and relish our free time. It was a perfect plan. But as they say, No matter how you plan your life, it has a way of surprising you with unexpected things that will make you happier than you originally planned.

2016 is full of opportunities that made our goals into reality and keep us wondering if this is the reward of last year circumstances. If it is, then, We are truly blessed.

Oat_Mnl Make-up Kit (Triple double set and Two zip foldable brush kit - peach)

Hello! Happy Wednesday. I'm happy to share a product that If not sent to me for free, I'd be glad to buy it for myself because I strongly believe that when a product is made with lots of love, it should be shared with family and friends.

When I first saw this set, I had tons of ideas on how I'm going to use it besides its original purpose which is a make-up kit but when I went to SM BF to finish my class album demo for pictorial, I don't want my supplies to be just in my Clarity Crafty Bin while traveling. I want to secure them. Yes, It became a craft supplies kit.

What I really love about this product were the small parts: Snap buttons -It gives you the option to take a peek first before you open the zipper. Zip tags -Because sometimes the zip head slipped in my fingers and it annoyed the hell out of me.

Inks: Ranger Ink - Archival Ink Pad - Jet BlackStaz On Ink Pads - Jet Black and Tsukineko - Dew Drop Brilliance Fast Drying Pigment Ink-Moonlight White. Assorted Adhesives: from different brands but my personal favorite is Stick-eeMulti-Purpose Scissor by Scotch
Pens: Sharpie Fine-Tip Permanent Marker, 24-Pack Assorted Colors, Dong-A My Color2 Colors, Zig Drawing Pens, Avanti Needle-Tip Pen, Pilot Super Grip (F) Pen, Uni Pin Fine Line Pen, Superior Graphic Twin Marker, Correction Pen, and Kuretake - ZIG - Clean Color - Real Brush Marker

And this is how it looks in my Clarity Craft Bin

RawSpiceBar November 2016 The Pondicherry Kit: Indo-French Vadouvan

Disclosure: This post includes affiliate links. Words and opinions expressed are always my own.

Hello! Happy Friday. I'm happy to share a product that If not sent to me for free, I'd be glad to buy it for myself because I strongly believe that when a product is made with lots of love, it should be shared with family and friends.

RawSpiceBar sent me their November Pondicherry flavor kit to try it for free. I decided to do it in series (3 parts) so I can individually share the recipes I made using their wonderful spices.

For the first part, I'm using Indo-French Vadouvan this spice reminds me of Taco seasoning without the extra strong aroma that punches you in the face and stays there for awhile. I love how I didn't have a hard time staying in front of the stove while cooking my favorite breakfast, eggs.

I tried the recipe (they included printed recipe cards) for Vadouvan scrambled eggs and loved it. The ingredients are basic and can be found in a typical kitchen. I truly enjoyed eating our breakfast that morning when I served it.

That same day, I cooked Ginisang Sayote with Pork Giniling for dinner. I didn't add the usual seasoning for this recipe, instead, I used Indo-French Vadouvan spice. My family did like it but not as much as I love it. I totally understand that. Spices is an acquired taste and I love this kind of stuff that makes a meal tasty and savory. I'm really glad that they're very open to my kitchen adventures. I was able to produce two meals plus another one (I still have leftover) maybe a spring roll or a chicken curry.

RawspiceBar is a monthly spice blend subscription, Every month for $8, You'll receive 3 freshly ground spices in small batch plus recipe cards you can try with the spices.

Signs of Love for Music

As early as 9 months, my nephew is showing signs of love for music. His uncle (my husband) and my dad are already dreaming of what music instruments they wanted my nephew to have first. As an aunt who doesn't have a love for music (I do listen once in awhile) I suggested that why not buy an accordion instrument for themselves. Play it during our family day and let him listen to it first.
