Hello! Happy Friday. I'm happy to share a product that If not sent to me for free, I'd be glad to buy it for myself because I strongly believe that when a product is made with lots of love, it should be shared with family and friends.

RawSpiceBar sent me their November Pondicherry flavor kit to try it for free. I decided to do it in series (3 parts) so I can individually share the recipes I made using their wonderful spices.

For the first part, I'm using Indo-French Vadouvan this spice reminds me of Taco seasoning without the extra strong aroma that punches you in the face and stays there for awhile. I love how I didn't have a hard time staying in front of the stove while cooking my favorite breakfast, eggs.

I tried the recipe (they included printed recipe cards) for Vadouvan scrambled eggs and loved it. The ingredients are basic and can be found in a typical kitchen. I truly enjoyed eating our breakfast that morning when I served it.

That same day, I cooked Ginisang Sayote with Pork Giniling for dinner. I didn't add the usual seasoning for this recipe, instead, I used Indo-French Vadouvan spice. My family did like it but not as much as I love it. I totally understand that. Spices is an acquired taste and I love this kind of stuff that makes a meal tasty and savory. I'm really glad that they're very open to my kitchen adventures. I was able to produce two meals plus another one (I still have leftover) maybe a spring roll or a chicken curry.

RawspiceBar is a monthly spice blend subscription, Every month for $8, You'll receive 3 freshly ground spices in small batch plus recipe cards you can try with the spices.
