My Aunt Birthday Gift

Last Saturday, we celebrated my nephew's first birthday. Some of our relatives weren't able to come but they were able to send their birthday greetings to my sister and her husband. One of my auntie who happens to be my sister godmother on her wedding sent this amazing musical instrument for my nephew. I immediately message her asking where she got it and she replied, "have you heard sabian at guitarcenter.com?" I said, "yes." then she replied back, "that's where I got it."

Tuyo and Pamplona Pasta

I assume you know by now that, I seldom or not at all serve my family with Pasta dishes with sauce. I just don't like my pasta swimming in too much sauce. Only Jollibee can get away with that because their spaghetti is one of my comfort food. What I want are flavorful ingredients tossed in my pasta. Just the everyday ingredients I can find in my pantry or refrigerator. For this recipe, the main source of flavor is the tuyo flakes. I didn't need to add salt. I just rely on the saltiness of the tuyo.

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 white onion, chopped
8 pcs tomatoes, diced
Chorizo Pamplona, sliced then minced
500 grams cooked pasta
Cream Cheese
2 pinch Chili flakes
sugar, pepper, and to taste

Instructions:
Cook pasta according to package direction. Drain. Set aside. Heat oil then sauté garlic and onion for about 1-2 minutes. Add chorizo pamplona and cook until it changes its color. Add tomato. Cook until the tomato is tender. Add tuyo flakes and season with pepper, sugar and chili flakes. Cook for another 3 minutes. Topped with cream cheese then serve.

Enjoy and Happy Wednesday!

Around Here

Hello there. I've been busy buying stuff, testing products and making things. Enjoying and loving every minute of it.

My dear friend who owns Rally's Gourmet Tuyo, sent me her version of gourmet Tinapa and we all love it. Between this and the tuyo without a doubt, I love this more.

Black Cherry Jam? Why not. It tastes good and I love adding this to my overnight oats with chia seeds.

Finally, after a month or so, I finally received my order of Prima Watercolor Confections (Decadent Pies) I  can finally color the skin of my doodles.

Still working on my nephew's birthday/christening decoration. Thankful for having Hampton Art Stamp Perfect Tool and We R Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board. These tools really made my crafting life easy.

Working on a new doodle set.

I seriously love this card. Made it for my friend and hoping she likes it.

I'm having skin problems due to cold weather and allergies with laundry detergent. I search and found The Soap Story in Instagram and the allergies are gone now. Simply amazing. I will never go back to commercial soap. I also loving the all-around balm they sent me as a gift.
