December Daily 2017 Day 1

December 03, 2017

Welcome to December Daily 2017!

I'm glad to be participating this year together with my friends here and abroad. Definitely the journey will be fun for all of us.

Day 01

I decided to use a photo of us from last year because that day I was annoyed, but I got my ever patient hubby on my side to cheer me up and I am thankful for that. I know you're asking, how on earth that story from a year ago related to the song of Ed Sheeran? Well, I am celebrating HIM and how I found a love for me to keep. A man whom I share my dreams and fears. Someone who keeps me sane in this crazy world we live in. Although I do that everyday, I usually get sentimental during December.

Printed a 5x7 photo and adhere it to the back of my opening page then make my own page protector by running through the plastic sleeve to a sewing machine

I splatter the transparency sheet and manila tag with poster paint using a brush then I staple the tag to the transparency with the ever reliable stapler and run through it again in the sewing machine. I also add a twine, transparent sticker (from a happy mail) and a strip of brown ribbon.

In order for me to cut correctly the La Fontaine Brush Font in my cricut explore air 2, I measured the manila tag first then used Photoshop to create the word Art. I had no problem cutting it but adhering it straight to the transparency takes effort. Lots of it and if you're not into delay gratification, then skip the part where I used the paper where the letter have been cut out as a stencil then slowly peeling it off without messing the whole thing. Yeah, to me it is worth the effort. I love it.

I just used a regular roller dater to add the date in the center of my wordart.

At the back of the transparency is my typewritten journaling and on the page protector, is where the printed lyrics are.

There's still space at the back of the page protector so I decided to search the music sheet in Pinterest then using my Canon printer, I printed it in a parchment paper.
